BellAsolo opens the gates of the renowned Garden of Villa Freya in Asolo. For most of the 20th century the Garden and the annexed villa belonged to Freya Stark, great explorer of the Middle East and one of the founders of modern travel litterature. As a great lover of gardening, from her travels she had brought various botanical species that she placed in her lush garden.
On the first three Saturdays of each month you can enter the Garden and visit the rich botanical setting and the restaured archaeological site of the Roman theatre of Asolo.
45 minutes guided tours are provided in the following opening times: 10:00 and 11:00, reservation required.
Upon request, other opening days and times are possible.
The park is closed during the months of August and December and in case of bad weather.
